When we arrived at this charming seaside community we LOVED everything about it…from the public park and greenspace, to the on-property playground to the lovely, winding streets and pathways lined with beautiful Nantucket-style cottages. The seasonal pool is an incredible bonus in the Summer months! We quickly parked our car and headed out to explore the neighborhood.
Life with a toddler demands room to roam and lots of it! Magical Olivia Beach, where everyone parks off the street and there is virtually no car traffic at all, is the perfect place for our little guy to roam. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the park and playing on the playground.
Heading back to the house, we realized Beach Vibes Cottage was instantly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. We loved being greeted by its light, bright and modern interiors and the layout of this property is a dream for traveling with family and friends. We set up our family in the main floor and our friends tucked upstairs for a perfect two bedroom/one bathroom set-up for their family, too. With the relaxing front porch and backyard BBQ and fire pit we have plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and two busy kiddos at Beach Vibes Cottage. The well-appointed kitchen is perfect and had everything we needed to keep the little ones well-fed and the adults full of good food and drink, too. After a delicious dinner, we all turned in for a night of blissful sleep on comfy beds with beautiful linens and left the windows open to breathe the ocean air.
The next morning over breakfast the kids were sure to remind us about the on-property pool and how eager they were to check it out! The private pool and fitness center are just a block away from Beach Vibes Cottage, making it easy to haul all our gear for an afternoon of splashing in the sun. An added bonus was that the gorgeous ocean view from the pool. Swoon! We headed back home for a round of afternoon naps before partaking in our new evening tradition…
Each night we walked across the street to the dedicated beach access and watched the sun sink below the horizon from our beautiful perch high above the sea. We raised a glass to Beach Vibes Cottage, Olivia Beach the rare vacation where parents AND kiddos have fun!
